Job overview: The actuator technician position will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair and installation and testing of various mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric actuators. This position will perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and repair of actuators and valves, including seal kit installation and component replacement at shop facilities and customer locations. The actuator technician should be able to perform pressure, leakage, and functional tests on actuators to ensure proper operation. This position should be able to diagnose electromechanical or hydraulic issues using tools like multi-meters, gauges, and software. You should be able to maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and compliance with safety standards. This position should be able to communicate timely updates to management, co-workers, and customers to ensure appropriate and successful completion of job responsibilities and to ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations. You must be able to travel to job sites and adhere to all site safety and performance requirements.
