About The Position

Encova Insurance will have a need for an Intern, Actuarial (reserving) for our Columbus, Ohio corporate office. This is a full-time summer internship for summer 2027 and will require someone who can work at least 40 hours per week. Start and end dates will be based on availability and business need. You will work a hybrid schedule with days in office each week. Must be currently enrolled and have completed at least 60 credit hours with an accredited college or university. Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled and have completed at least 60 credit hours with an accredited college or university.
  • Sophomore and junior level candidates preferred
  • One to two actuarial exams desired
  • Must be actively enrolled and pursuing a degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance or data science
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Good communication skills
  • Reside and work within specific U.S. states (Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin).
