About The Position

CNO Financial Group, Inc. is seeking an Actuarial Intern to work alongside experienced Actuaries, assisting with day-to-day actuarial tasks within the Life, Health, and Annuity sectors. This paid internship offers competitive rates and is designed to provide meaningful professional growth and impact. The internship program will run from May 17 through August 6, 2027, and includes various activities to complement the departmental work, such as networking, leader talks, career counseling, and industry presentations. Interns are also eligible for benefits like paid time for Business Resource Group events, the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and fitness center access. The role is fully remote from any US-based location, provided the intern can work Central or Eastern Time hours. Occasional travel to corporate offices may be required.

Requirements

• Progress towards a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics or related discipline.
• Status as a rising junior or rising senior, approx. graduation dates of December 2027-June 2029.
• At least one passed Actuarial exam towards SOA designation.
• Availability to work 40 hrs/week for 10-12 weeks during the summer.
• Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred OR willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours.
• Must possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. The Company does not intend to sponsor work visas.
