About The Position

The Actuarial Analyst is responsible for assisting in the determination of rates, analyzing, developing, and validating statistical data. Under limited supervision, applies the appropriate actuarial analytical tools to the data and performs preliminary actuarial and statistical analysis. Updates actuarial pricing, valuation and forecasting models as directed. Refines and collects appropriate data for actuarial analysis and ensures its reasonableness and accuracy by coordination within the division. Prepares analyses and communicates findings and recommendations to actuarial colleagues, business partners, and leadership.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree
  • Passed a minimum of one Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exam
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Interest or experience using AI-enabled tools for analysis, automation, or productivity
  • Progress toward actuarial credentials beyond the minimum requirement
  • Candidates who have passed multiple actuarial exams and/or have prior relevant actuarial internship experience are especially encouraged to apply.
