About The Position

The Actuarial Analyst will support Actuarial Management and participate in the Actuarial Rotation program, which offers opportunities to rotate to different teams internally (e.g., Commercial/Medicare pricing and reserves) or externally (e.g., Segment, Value-Based Provider Analytics, Financial Performance and Analysis) approximately every 3 years. The role involves supporting and analyzing pricing, trend analytics, gross margin reporting, and financial reporting for various teams such as ACA, Medicare, Group, Reserves, and Segment. The analyst will also focus on increasing their knowledge of actuarial science and insurance theory, progressing towards the FSA designation. This position is open to both remote and in-person candidates.

Requirements

  • Math/Statistics or related Bachelor's degree required
  • Passing of 1 or more examinations from the Society of Actuaries
  • 0-1 year of related work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum GPA of 3.2
  • Previous actuarial work experience or internship in an Actuarial role
  • Background in health or insurance field
  • Proficiency in Excel, SAS, and SQL

Responsibilities
