About The Position

The Actuarial Analyst 2, Analytics/Forecasting analyzes and forecasts financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions. You will establish metrics, provide data analyses, and work directly to support business intelligence. You will evaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's short, medium and long-term financial and competitive position. The Actuarial Analyst 2, Analytics/Forecasting will report to the Associate Director, Actuarial Analytics/Forecasting. You will ensure data integrity by developing and executing necessary processes and controls around the flow of data. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs/issues, troubleshoot problems, conduct root cause analysis, and develop cost effective resolutions for data anomalies. You will understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Successful completion of at least 3 actuarial exams
• Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms

Nice To Haves

• Experience in SAS, SQL, or Python
• Comfort in communicating technical concepts to non-actuarial audiences
• Experience with pharmacy claims
