About The Position

The Regulatory and Contractual Reporting unit is seeking an early-career Actuarial Analyst or Business Analyst to contribute to the success of one of Verisk's most important roles in the insurance industry - a statistical agent and data partner to insurance companies, regulatory entities, and federal and local government agencies. In our strong team of experienced, intelligent, and collaborative actuarial and business analysts, you will have the opportunity to work with all lines of insurance for which data are reported to Verisk, including, but not limited to, Personal and Commercial Property, Personal and Commercial Auto, Liability, Terrorism, Aircraft, Surety and Fidelity, etc. During data quality reviews, regulatory filings, and data reporting you will utilize your skills in Excel and Access, and programming languages like SQL, Python, and VBA. You will exercise your time management prowess and project leadership competence through timely and accurate reporting to our government and industry customers. You will also be tasked to identify and implement efficiencies and enhancements to production processes and introduce innovations. Your communication skills are a part of the balance you bring to the table because interacting with the team and responding to questions from customers (internal and external) and regulators on filings, circulars, and other ISO products will be a part of your day-to-day job.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the success of Verisk's role as a statistical agent and data partner.
