About The Position
OUR NATIONAL CONVERSATION (ONC) is a nonpartisan political conversation site seeking individuals with acting abilities to be the 'face' of ONC. This role involves acting in short videos and other content for social media channels. We are looking for individuals who are comfortable with social media, have experience with scripts/content review, and are currently studying Theater, Marketing, or a similar field. Wacky personalities are encouraged to apply, and only 'clean' fun is permitted. The position is unpaid, as all current members are unpaid interns and volunteers. Some students may be eligible for college credit. A commitment of at least a full college semester is preferred. The work is completely remote, utilizing Slack, Google Drive, and Zoom, with weekly Tuesday meetings held via Zoom.
Requirements
- Familiarity with social media.
- Currently studying Theater, Marketing, or a similar field.
- Basic experience with scripts/content review.
- Ability to act in short videos and social media content.
- Willingness to commit to at least a full college semester.
- Must provide a link to video clips or social media posts showcasing work.

- Ability to create new character interpretations that attract an audience.
