About The Position
Granite Hills Hospital is seeking a PRN Activity Therapist to join their team. This role involves evaluating and administering therapy to patients according to their treatment plan goals. The therapist will develop and implement therapy programs using various therapeutic procedures and assistive devices to maximize patients' functional potentials in all aspects of their lives. Granite Hills Hospital is a 120-bed facility providing high-quality, patient-centered behavioral health care for adolescents, adults, and older adults in the greater Milwaukee community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field.
- Minimum of two (2) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting.
- Appropriate certification in Occupational Therapy or Recreation Therapy.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates and administers therapy to patients in accordance with goals provided in the treatment plan.
- Develops evaluation and therapy programs through the use of a variety of therapeutic procedures and assistive devices intended to maximize functional potentials in all areas of a patient’s life.
