About The Position

We are looking for a dynamic, PRN, Activities Therapist (Art, Recreation, Music, or Dance/Movement) Board Certified in Specialty who will embrace the opportunity to have a positive impact on the lives of the patients we serve! Centennial Peaks Hospital has been providing psychiatric services to the Denver-metro area for more than 30 years. Located in beautiful Louisville, CO, our 104-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness including chemical dependency. Centennial Peaks offers unique and individualized programming for adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities. Our dynamic leadership team includes a seasoned nursing department. Our hospital is fortunate to provide Electroconvulsive Therapy, Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs in addition to inpatient services. It takes passion and dedication to meet the behavioral health needs of our community and specifically Centennial Peaks Hospital adult patients struggling with mental health concerns. The Activities Therapist is an important member of the Centennial Peaks Hospital’s inpatient multidisciplinary treatment team. The Activities Therapist provides expressive arts therapy, psychoeducational groups, and recreational activities to inpatient psychiatric units. We are looking for candidates who specializes in Recreational, Art, Dance/Movement or Expressive Arts.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Specialty Therapy Required.
MUST be registered as a Recreation (CTRS), Music (MT-BC), Dance/Movement (R-DMT) or Art Therapist (ATR)
Recreation-MUST have or be eligible for CTRS
Music-MUST have or be eligible for MT-BC
Dance/Movement or Expressive Arts-MUST have or be eligible for R-DMT or REAT
