About The Position

Supervise, coach, and instruct fall little kicks and kicks league soccer programs at Paul Frank Field running on Sundays between the hours of 12:30 pm -to 4:00pm, from September 13 - October 18. This position is required to work approximately 4 hours per week. Posting will be open until filled.

Requirements

• Must be very familiar with sport or activity and have knowledge of all official rules and skills.
• Experience working with groups and teaching skills
• Positive attitude and strong initiative.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, educational, active, and fun environment for participants.
• Act as safety officer and implement any first aid needed
• Uphold the integrity of recreational sport/activity and deal directly with and unsportsmanlike conduct.
• Required to help set up and breakdown facility for specific activity/athletic instruction.
• Work cooperatively with Park and Recreation department, other facility users, team managers, and players implementing other recreational programs.
• Act in a polite and courteous manner and represent the Recreation Department and the City of St. Louis Park in the most professional way.
