About The Position

Providing unique and enriching vacation experiences for guests through activity delivery and glamping quality. This role involves executing, supervising, and guiding a variety of activities, assisting guests with scheduling, and acting as a knowledge expert for the property and local attractions. The Activity Specialist also assists with glamping site housekeeping tasks and models the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions.

Requirements

Minimum age: 18+
Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening)
Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication
Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 8 hours daily
Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
Complete the Annual Health and Medical Record , including height/weight guidelines

Nice To Haves

Outdoor recreation experience
Complete USA archery level 1 instructor or BSA archery rangemaster (training provided)

Responsibilities

Execute, supervise, and provide guidance to a variety of activities offered, not limited to: Archery, throwing activities, aerial activities, and fishing appropriate for ages 6+
Facilitate short tours of property while driving company van
Assist guests with activity scheduling and creating a seamless experience
Knowledge experts for on-site hiking trails, local adventures, and attractive family destinations
Assists the glamping site in housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and lodging
Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions
Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area
Perform additional duties assigned by SBR leadership
Abide by policies and procedures outlined in the SBR staff handbook
