About The Position

Riverside Research is seeking an Activity Security Representative (ASR) with direct experience overseeing and managing Special Access Programs (SAP) and related security efforts supporting AFRL research activities. This position directly supports and works directly with AFRL GSSO, PSO, and contract PM (CPM) to manage, administer, and oversee work in collocated government SAPFs. This is a full-time position located at Wright-Patterson AFB. A TS/SCI clearance is required. Must maintain all other program access requirements associated with this position.

Requirements

  • Prior experience managing a U.S. government security program.
  • Experience with JADE and DISS systems.
  • Experience developing and submitting PARs.
  • Experience developing, updating, and maintaining security SOPs.
  • Experience developing and managing equipment inventories.
  • Experience validating clearance eligibility and submitting VRs for cleared personnel.
  • Experience managing security documentation, including SCGs, DD254s, and PIFs.
  • Experience planning and facilitating security meetings, including briefing/de-briefing.
  • Experience managing SETA programs.
  • Experience with destruction requirements and procedures.
  • Excellent organization, planning, and communications skills.
  • Work effectively and collaboratively in a matrixed, multi-disciplined team environment.
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate good judgement and pay attention to critical details.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with a related bachelor’s degree or 8 years direct experience managing U.S. government security programs.
  • Must possess a TS/SCI.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior SAP management experience.
  • Experience ensuring systems are compliant with DoD JSIG requirements.
  • 8 years’ experience with a related bachelor’s degree or 11 years direct experience managing U.S. government security programs.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to applicable laws as well as national, DoD, and other SAP security policies and requirements such as DoD SAP Security Manuals: DoDM 5205.07 Volumes 1 – 4.
  • Develop, update, and maintain SOPs for SAPF physical security requirements, including access and protection of classified and CUI data.
  • Develop, update, and maintain detailed instructions and procedures in accordance with the program’s SCG, SOPs, and applicable marking guides to protect classified and CUI information.
  • Develop, update, and maintain SOPs to ensure proper, storing, transmitting, and destroying classified data and materials.
  • Conduct regular inventories of classified information and materials.
  • Conduct security briefings as required.
  • Support overall management of assigned SAP SETA programs, as directed.
  • Other duties as assigned by the GSSO, CPM, or Riverside Program Manager.
