About The Position

Elite Home Care, Day Centers & Transportation is looking for a compassionate and energetic Activity/Member Assistant to join their team in Darlington, SC. This role involves working with the elderly and young adults in a supportive and engaging environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable transportation and/or a valid driver’s license
CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Clean background check and drug test
Physically able to assist members with personal care tasks

Nice To Haves

Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals

Responsibilities

Assist the Activity Director in planning and implementing engaging activities, including arts and crafts, music, games, and educational programs.
Provide hands-on personal care (ADL assistance) to members, including feeding, toileting, and dressing.
Foster a positive and interactive environment by engaging with members.
Set up and clean activity areas to ensure a safe and organized space.
Redirect behaviors as needed to promote a supportive atmosphere.
Monitor and document any changes in client behavior or health, reporting to the RN Administrator.
Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
