About The Position
The Cowichan Valley Regional District is seeking casual Activity Leader I candidates for the Cowichan Community Centre, within the Community Services Department. This role involves providing a variety of recreation work related to public skating sessions, programs, and special events. The position reports to the Programs & Events Coordinator and works under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor and Recreation Programmer II.
Requirements
- 15 years of age or older.
- Experience or leadership skills in recreation programming.
- Previous work experience.
- WHMIS Certificate – provided by employer
- Basic First Aid Certificate
Responsibilities
- Provides a variety of recreation work related to public skating sessions, programs and special events.
