About The Position
The Activity Director is responsible for facilitating group activities, encouraging resident involvement, and maintaining accurate attendance records. This role also involves assisting with one-on-one activities, transporting residents to and from activities, and supporting outings and special events. The Activity Director collaborates with various disciplines to ensure patient-centered care and adheres to confidentiality, HIPAA, and Federal Residents' Rights regulations.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid State Issued Driver’s License
- Must be 21 years of age
Responsibilities
- Facilitate group activities
- Encourage activity involvement and chart attendance
- Assist in keeping activity supplies clean and organized
- Assist with 1 on 1 activities
- Transport residents to and from activities
- Assist with outings and special events and other assigned duties
- Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care
- Compliance with confidentiality, HIPPA and Federal Residents Rights
