About The Position
Join the team at The Hotel Hershey, a luxury resort best known for its refined elegance, signature services, and abundant amenities. The Hotel Hershey is situated high atop the town of Hershey and has 326 guest rooms, including 19 Villas with 98 luxury sleeping rooms, as well as 25,000 square feet of meeting and function space. The 1930's hotel is a Historic Hotel of America and a AAA Four-Diamond Award winner. The Activities Attendant at The Hotel Hershey is responsible for hosting children and family activities. Also is responsible for maintaining and assisting with outdoor pool complex, outdoor sports, 18-Hole Putting Green, and The Cocoa Clubhouse program. Must be knowledgeable of all aspects of the facilities. Will direct all efforts toward guest satisfaction, the achievement and maintenance of The Hotel Hershey standards and profit maximization.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Current American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid certifications preferred or willing to obtain.
- Professional people skills and personable interaction with individuals of all ages.
- Professional image representative of property image.
- Ability to multi-task
- Portray a high level of maturity, responsibility, and professionalism which all employees can respect and follow.
- Follow all aspects of job safety.
- Completed clearances (report of criminal history from the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), Child Abuse History Clearance from the Department of Human Services (Child Abuse), and Fingerprint-based federal criminal history submitted through the Pennsylvania State Police or its authorized agent (FBI)) are required to be submitted prior to starting employment.

Responsibilities
- Maintain all work areas so they are organized, neat, and clean.
- Conduct activities with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Conduct activities according to the Standard of Operations.
- Assist with year round special event programs.
- Assist in maintaining all outdoor recreational areas.
- Maintain open communications and positive working relationships within the Recreation department and all departments within the Hotel Hershey.
- Attend scheduled department meetings.
- Maintain performance standards for areas of responsibility.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
