Activity Associate- South Hills
About The Position
Juniper Communities is seeking an Activity Associate for their South Hills location. This is a part-time position available for every Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm, with occasional mid-week shifts as needed. The starting rate is $16.00 per hour. Requirements
- Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma, a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology, or other related field
- Previous experience in healthcare or service related setting
Responsibilities
- Assists in the creation, planning and implementation of the Connections program - the daily activities for our residents.
- Ensures the maximum levels of resident leisure contentment, as well as physical, mental, and psychological well being.
- Assists in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating of the Connections activity program for the community.
- Works closely with Wellness Associates for the implementation of Connections activity programs.
