About The Position
Juniper Communities is seeking an Activity Associate for a PRN position at their Monroeville location. This role is crucial in creating, planning, and implementing the Connections program, which focuses on daily activities for residents. The goal is to ensure residents experience maximum leisure contentment and maintain their physical, mental, and psychological well-being. The position offers daily pay, meaning no need to wait for payday. Some weekday mornings and evenings may be available depending on scheduling, and weekend availability is a must. Requirements
- High School Diploma (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology, or other related field experience(Preferred)
- Previous experience in healthcare or service-related setting (Preferred)
- Fitness background (Preferred)
- Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating of the Connections activity program for the community.
- Works closely with Wellness Associates for the implementation of Connections activity programs.
