About The Position
Juniper Communities is seeking an Activity Associate for their Monroeville location. This is a part-time position offering daily pay, with 15-20 hours per week available. The role involves assisting in the creation, planning, and implementation of the Connections program, which provides daily activities for residents to ensure their leisure contentment and overall well-being. Requirements
- High School Diploma (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Applicants with a background in fitness, music, art, or education are encouraged to apply.
- Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology, or other related field experience(Preferred)
- Previous experience in healthcare or service-related setting (Preferred)
- Fitness background (Preferred)
- Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating of the Connections activity program for the community.
- Works closely with Wellness Associates for the implementation of Connections activity programs.
