About The Position

The Activity Associate I works under supervision with general exercise of independent judgment in the planning, coordinating, and implementing of a comprehensive multi-level recreation program to meet the needs of participants. Adheres to administrative and departmental policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety, health, and confidentiality. LIFE Armstrong is a program that serves county residents living in Armstrong, Butler, Beaver and Lawrence Counties. It is an all-inclusive comprehensive program that helps individuals maintain their independence in their home and community through supportive services. The LIFE programs offer an array of person-centered services from medical care to adult day supports with the primary goal of allowing individuals to remain in their own home.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Must have one year of experience with a frail or elderly population.
