About The Position
As an Activities Assistant, you’ll help bring joy, connection, and purpose to each day by supporting engaging programs that meet residents’ social, emotional, and recreational needs. Be a light — to residents, families, and your fellow team members.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Genuine care and compassion for residents
- Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to engage residents with enthusiasm and creativity
- Excellent attendance and reliability
Responsibilities
- Assist with developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating activity programs
- Support the execution of the daily and monthly activity calendar
- Engage residents in group and individual activities
- Help meet residents’ spiritual, emotional, recreational, leisure, and social needs
- Encourage participation while promoting dignity, independence, and well-being
- Collaborate with the Activities Director and interdisciplinary team
