The Activity Assistant will be responsible for engaging with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where the values of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction. This role involves driving a company van for organized outings, documenting resident participation in activities, planning and maintaining an inventory of activity equipment and supplies, and evaluating the effectiveness of the resident's activity program. The assistant will also coordinate the Community newsletter, work with the resident council to incorporate resident input, and coordinate resident shopping orders for those unable to shop independently. Continuous learning and development are encouraged through participation in educational seminars and staff meetings.
