About The Position

Alto Evergreen Walk is hiring a Full-Time Activity Assistant (Lifestyle Assistant) to support our Memory Care neighborhood while our Interlude Manager is on leave. This is a temporary full-time opportunity through October 15, 2026, with the opportunity to apply for other open positions within our community afterward. We're looking for someone who is creative, outgoing, dependable, and genuinely enjoys making a difference in the lives of seniors living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

Requirements

• High-energy, upbeat personality
• Someone who genuinely enjoys working with seniors
• Creative and comfortable leading activities and groups
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Dependable, organized, and able to take initiative
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
• Must be 21+ to drive community vehicles

Nice To Haves

• Previous senior living, activities, recreation, Memory Care, or caregiving experience preferred
• CDL is a plus but not required
• No activity certification required

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with engaging daily activities for Memory Care residents
• Create meaningful opportunities for socialization, movement, creativity, and fun
• Assist with preparing and distributing the monthly activity calendar
• Build relationships with residents and learn their individual interests, stories, and preferences
• Assist with resident council meetings and other community programs
• Coordinate with volunteers and community groups
• Help plan resident outings and transportation
• Drive community vehicles as needed
• Support the Lifestyle Director and Memory Care team with additional programming needs
