Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication, interpersonal abilities and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Certification in recreational therapy or a related field.
- Experience in planning and leading group activities.
- Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals in a care setting
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational and therapeutic activities for residents
- Engage residents in activities, ensuring their participation and enjoyment while providing support as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for all activities, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Document resident participation and feedback to help evaluate the effectiveness of programs
- Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate special events and outings for residents
