We are currently hiring for a Full-time Activity Assistant Care partner for our Cobb community located in Marietta. This position is day shift hours, every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 year of Activity Assistant Experience required
- Experience working with persons living with dementia
- Genuine passion for working with elders
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Creative thinking and outgoing personality, interpersonal skills
- Good documentation skills (electronic charting experience with PointClickCare preferred)
- Strong organization and time management skills
Nice To Haves
- 1 year experience in LTC/skilled nursing community preferred
- Experience working in a nonprofit environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and implementing daily activities for residents.
- Engage residents in therapeutic and recreational activities.
- Provide support and companionship to residents.
- Assist with documentation of resident participation and progress.
- Maintain a safe and clean activity environment.
