About The Position

Trinity Care Center is looking for a hardworking, energetic, loyal and creative person to fill our part-time Activity Aide position. The right person must be flexible and excited to take on a variety of tasks to create a fun environment for our wonderful residents. The primary purpose of your job position is to assist the Activity Director in the planning, and implementation of resident activities and life enrichment.

Requirements

• Be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language while conducting company business.
• Be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Have a positive and friendly attitude.
• Be able to solve diverse procedural problems and plans.
• Be able to communicate, coordinate, and facilitate with other departments, families, and the general public.
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors and the general public.
• Be able to request and/or accept direction/education as needed to develop new skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in the planning, and implementation of resident activities and life enrichment.
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the care center.
• Befriend residents to encourage their self-esteem by visiting and conversing with them on a regular basis.
