About The Position

Elm Crest Senior Living Community is hiring an Activity Aide to support engaging and meaningful recreational programming across our senior living community. Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to work scheduled weekdays and rotating weekends
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, energetic, and resident-focused approach

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in activities, recreation, healthcare, or senior living preferred
• Experience working with older adults preferred
• Creative and team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and leading recreational, social, and wellness activities for residents
• Support residents’ emotional, physical, cognitive, and social well-being through engaging programming
• Work closely with the Life Enrichment Director to create meaningful resident experiences
• Encourage participation and build positive relationships with residents and families
• Assist with group activities, special events, outings, and holiday programming
• Prepare activity materials, supplies, and room setups as needed
• Support residents across all levels of care, including independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing
• Maintain activity documentation and attendance records as assigned
