The Activity Aide is responsible for assisting in planning, organizing, and supervising scheduled therapeutic activities for all residents. This role contributes to resident care planning, maintains a safe therapeutic environment, and coordinates with area churches for religious services. The aide assesses, plans, and implements activities tailored to residents' capabilities and therapeutic needs, including one-on-one activities and community functions. They also strive to recruit and work effectively with new volunteers, continuously implementing new activities each month. Additionally, the Activity Aide ensures mail distribution, implements arts and crafts projects, cares for the aviary, and contributes to overall organizational operations as needed.
