Summary Statement Join our team as an Activity Aide I at the Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill! You’ll help to engage the residents here by organizing and conducting group/individual activities such as games, entertainers, support groups, dances, arts and crafts, community trips, etc. To organize these programs, you’ll maintain records and work with community groups and recreational facilities in scheduling and coordinating activities. For trips outside the facility, you’ll drive a 15-passenger van and assume responsibility for the care and safety of patients. In this role, you will also assist in the residents’ treatments, from observing and recording progress to developing goal plans for new residents.
