About The Position

This role involves contributing to the development of a diverse calendar of APB events, including dates, times, facilities, and costs each semester. The calendar requires regular updates and the Advisor must be informed of all changes. The position includes facilitating bi-weekly committee meetings, maintaining weekly communication with members about upcoming events, and completing weekly office hours in the APB office. A key aspect of the role is ensuring all events, promotions, and meetings are inclusive for all students and promoting collaboration among APB and other student organizations. The role also entails participating in the planning and implementation of "all hands on deck" events and communicating frequently via team platforms like Teams and Outlook. Additionally, the role involves compiling lists of supplies and needs for events to share with the Core Leadership Team, and performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of a diverse calendar of APB events, including dates, times, facilities, and cost each semester.
  • Update the event calendar regularly and inform the Advisor of all changes.
  • Facilitate bi-weekly committee meetings with members.
  • Maintain weekly communication with members regarding upcoming events.
  • Complete weekly office hours in the APB office.
  • Ensure all events, promotions, and meetings are inclusive for all students.
  • Promote collaboration among APB and other student organizations on campus.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of "all hands on deck" events outside of specific committee events.
  • Communicate on team platforms, including but not limited to Teams, and Outlook, and check them frequently.
  • Compile lists of all supplies and needs for events to share with the Core Leadership Team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or deemed necessary by the Core Leadership Team.
