About The Position

Bridgewater Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for an Activities Leader to join their team. This is a full-time day shift position. The successful candidate will be energetic, passionate, and creative, working directly with residents. They must be gentle, responsible, hard-working, comfortable with confused individuals, and find fulfillment in small achievements. The role provides individualized activity care and services for residents, functioning as a team member within the activities department and an interdisciplinary team member for assigned units.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior work/life experiences, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Prior experience preferably with related software applications.
  • Must be able to plan, organize, and conduct a variety of activities.
  • Basic computer literacy and skills.
  • Must possess an active state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Provides individualized activity care and services for residents.
  • Functions as a team member within the activities department.

  • Encourage residents' socialization and community involvement.
  • Plan, organize, and conduct a variety of activities.
