About The Position

NHC Osage Beach Rehabilitation and HealthCare Center is seeking a full-time Life Enrichment & Activities Director for their 80-bed skilled nursing facility in Osage Beach, MO. The role focuses on creating a positive and fun work environment by enhancing the quality of life for residents through engaging activities. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, creative, and comfortable leading others, with a desire to work with seniors and a background in activity programming for long-term care.

Requirements

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
• Team player who is trustworthy, dependable and energetic
• Committed in Enhancing The Quality of Life for our Patients & Partners
• Available at least one weekend day per week
• Comfortable using a computer, specifically Microsoft Word
• Someone who is comfortable leading others and serving on our Department Head Leadership Team
• Desire to work with seniors
• Compassionate and creative
• Some knowledge of activity programming in long term care
• Strong communication and time management
• Ability to be a team player and work with other departments to build staff morale
• Basic typing and computer skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Publisher specifically for producing monthly calendars and newsletters along with other external and internal marketing material

Responsibilities

• Working with the Activities Assistant & Administrator to lead wellness activities for Long Term Care, Memory Care and Rehab patients as assigned
• Timely completion of associated paperwork
• Coordinating celebrations, holidays and parties
• Having fun at work and making sure others do too
• Other duties as assigned
