About The Position
We are looking for an Activities Director who’s ready to turn up the fun and make magic happen daily for our residents. You’ll be the mastermind behind the smiles, the laughter, and the joy that fills our halls. Confetti cannon not required... but highly encouraged. You’ll be at the heart of the action, turning ordinary days into unforgettable moments. Whether it’s game night, karaoke hour, or a surprise luau, you create the magic. And our residents? They’ll adore you.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 1 year of experience in long-term care or a similar environment
- Leadership chops, top-notch communication skills, and a talent for organizing fun
- A genuine love for people and passion for making every day meaningful for our residents
Nice To Haves
- Activities Certification preferred (or the willingness to become certified)
- Bonus points if you've hosted a themed sock hop
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead daily activities for our awesome residents and guests
- Manage activities staff and volunteers
- Serve on the facility Leadership Team
- Set the gold standard for resident satisfaction, encouraging choice, engagement, and a whole lot of joy
- Keep everything in line with regulations, including assessments, care plans, and documentation
