Requirements

  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Two years of college coursework
  • Two years of experience in long-term care activities or memory care
  • Genuine passion for working with the senior population
  • Knowledge of the domains of wellness as they relate to LTC programming
  • High energy, strong organization, and creative thinking
  • Compassion, accountability, and a team-first attitude

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a dynamic Activities team — hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating assistants
  • Design and deliver a well-rounded therapeutic activities program across all shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Facilitate monthly Resident Council meetings and champion resident voice
  • Manage the facility volunteer program from recruitment through recognition
  • Partner with clinical and marketing teams to support community engagement and census growth
  • Complete assessments, care plans, and documentation in compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines
  • Celebrate holidays, milestone events, and daily wins in meaningful ways
