About The Position

The Activities Coordinator role is centered on designing, organizing, and implementing engaging programs and events that enhance the social, recreational, and educational experiences of participants. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure activities are inclusive, safe, and aligned with organizational goals. They will also be responsible for managing resources, scheduling, and promoting events to maximize participation and satisfaction. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in event planning, recreation, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic proficiency with scheduling and communication tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management, Education, or a related discipline.
  • Certification in activity coordination or event management.
  • Experience working with diverse populations including children, seniors, or individuals with special needs.
  • First aid and CPR certification.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing and social media promotion.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and coordinate a variety of activities and events that cater to different age groups and interests.
  • Manage logistics including scheduling, resource allocation, and venue preparation to ensure smooth execution of activities.
  • Collaborate with team members, volunteers, and external partners to enhance program offerings and community engagement.
  • Monitor participant feedback and attendance to continuously improve activity quality and relevance.
  • Ensure all activities comply with safety standards and organizational policies.
