About The Position

Friendship Village is seeking a creative, energetic, and highly motivated Activities Coordinator to plan and implement a wide variety of activities for skilled residents. This role involves organizing games, crafts, speakers, movies, and more, with the goal of improving seniors' quality of life by promoting socialization, expanding personal interests, and making a difference in their lives. The ideal candidate will be creative, an excellent communicator, enjoy working with older adults, and be organized, self-motivated, and driven for excellence. Requirements

2+ years of experience in event/activities planning
Associates degree or higher
Prior experience working with seniors
Pass pre-employment screenings including criminal background checks, abuse registry checks, drug test, physical, and TB test.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement a wide variety of activities for skilled residents, ranging from games, crafts, speakers, and movies.
Create fun and adventure for residents, ensuring engaging activities are available.
Promote socialization and expand personal interests for seniors.
