About The Position

Cornerstone Management is seeking a creative, energetic, and resident-focused Activities Coordinator to plan and lead engaging programs that support the physical, social, intellectual, and spiritual well-being of our senior living community. This is a hands-on, people-centered role with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

Requirements

High school diploma required
Previous experience planning and running activities, preferably in a senior living setting
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Comfort working with older adults and understanding their interests and needs
Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar software
MN Commercial Driver’s License with passenger endorsement required
Friendly, compassionate, and enthusiastic approach to resident engagement

Nice To Haves

some college or relevant training preferred

Responsibilities

Develop, coordinate, and implement a variety of resident activities, events, trips, and celebrations
Encourage resident participation and create opportunities for them to share their talents and interests
Plan special programs around holidays and other meaningful occasions
Communicate and collaborate with staff across departments to coordinate events
Prepare a monthly activity calendar and community newsletter
Drive residents to scheduled outings, appointments, and errands in the community van/bus
Coordinate transportation needs and maintain activity schedules
Maintain a positive, welcoming environment and foster strong resident relationships
Support marketing events, open houses, and tours as needed
Assist with administrative duties, emergency calls, and occasional front desk support
