This role involves joining the dynamic Recreation TEAM to enhance guests' leisure experience by overseeing all functions of the Recreation Department, including the Activities Center, daily events, Pool Attendants, Lifeguards, Lake Austin Pier, and Water Park, with a focus on safety, friendly, and professional interactions in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard certified.

Nice To Haves

  • Hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Guests in recreational areas and provide constant surveillance of pool areas to ensure Guest safety.
  • Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness.
  • Act as a first responder to emergency situations that occur in the Recreational Areas.
  • Enforce policies, rules and regulations of the Recreation locations.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time while monitoring the pool, lazy river and pier area.
  • Work in outdoor settings during various weather conditions.
  • Clear Waterpark and Pool area of used towels, lifejackets, and trash.
  • Maintain and exchange used and clean towel bins.
  • Proactively address Guest needs by answering questions, giving directions and other information about the resort or surrounding areas.
  • Maintain overall upkeep of all cabanas.
