Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent education is preferred.
Preference given to persons who have completed courses in therapeutic recreation.
Minimum one year experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
If operating company vehicle you must be twenty-one (21) years of age and meet the MVR organization standards.

Responsibilities

Assist with social activities and recreational programs that provide spiritual, physical, social, and intellectual challenges for facility residents.
Assist Therapeutic Recreation Director in coordinating Residents' Council meetings.
Perform assigned cleaning responsibilities of equipment and work areas.
Initiate reporting and documentation procedures as assigned.
Assist with the development, printing and distribution of resident newsletter.
Perform other department duties or special assignments as assigned.
