About The Position
Pleasant View Communities is a Life Plan Community located in Manheim, Pa. They are seeking a passionate Activities Assistant to join their resident-centered team. This role is crucial in providing high-quality services and ensuring the happiness of both residents and staff. The position involves working on a secured dementia unit as part of a three-person activity staff team.
Requirements
- Desire to work with the senior population
- Strong interpersonal skills with awareness for dignity, respect, compassion and safety
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with Dementia preferred.
- Dementia care experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Implementation of recreational program.
- Monitor resident needs, preferences, and attendance in activities.
- Assist in preparing activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs.
