About The Position

Requirements

  • Ability to independently manage and run activities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Ability to motivate and encourage residents to participate
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Physical ability to assist with outings and activities as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in activity planning or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Activity Director in planning and conducting daily activities with minimal supervision
  • Independently run and facilitate various activities, ensuring they are engaging and inclusive
  • Encourage residents to participate in daily activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation
  • Assist with organizing outings such as lunch trips and scenic rides
  • Monitor residents during activities to ensure safety and enjoyment
  • Maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere that fosters resident engagement
