Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test.
• Applicants may be subject to a background check.
• Employees in this position must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with the advanced age, Alzheimer's, and Dementia (preferred)
• Experience in a related field (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Engage residents in meaningful, individualized activities by assisting with planning, adapting programs, and encouraging participation using supportive, therapeutic techniques.
• Ensure resident safety, dignity, and confidentiality while assisting with activities, outings, meals, hydration, and daily household operations.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, volunteers, and care team members, reporting resident concerns and participating in required meetings and trainings.
