About The Position

Under the general direction of the Life Enrichment Director, the Life Enrichment Assistant is primarily responsible for enriching the lives of our residents. This role involves ensuring high-quality customer service, engaging with prospective residents, and performing welcome orientations for new residents. Programs should align with the Whole Person Wellness Model, incorporating at least two of the six experiences: Intellectual, Social, Emotional, Vocational, and Spiritual. The assistant will utilize iPads for resident enrichment and social media, represent the company professionally, and be responsible for scheduling weekend activities. Availability to work weekends and occasional events is required. The role also includes driving a 14-passenger bus for group events and personal appointments, updating seasonal decorations, overseeing the volunteer program, and reporting emergency situations to the Life Enrichment Director.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with software applications/programs/tools used by American House for Life Enrichment position.
  • Must be available to work weekends and sometimes weekends for events.
  • Must be able to drive a 14 passenger bus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the highest quality of customer service for residents.
  • Engage in prospective resident visits.
  • Perform welcome orientation with new residents.
  • Develop and implement programs based on the Whole Person Wellness Model, incorporating at least 2 of the 6 experiences (Intellectual, Social, Emotional, Vocational, and Spiritual).
  • Utilize iPad for resident enrichment and to capture photos for community TVs and Facebook.
  • Maintain proficiency with software applications/programs/tools used by American House for the Life Enrichment position.
  • Schedule weekend activities.
  • Be available to work weekends and sometimes weekends for events.
  • Represent American House professionally in all community events.
  • Drive a 14-passenger bus for group events and personal appointments.
  • Update seasonal/holiday decorations throughout the building.
  • Oversee the volunteer program.
  • Notify the Life Enrichment Director of emergency situations.
  • Report to the Life Enrichment Director.
