About The Position
Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our Skilled Nursing team as an Activity Assistant. This role is responsible for implementing a varied scope of activities and recreation. This is a full-time position with a starting pay of $16.00 per hour.
Requirements
- High school graduate with strong verbal and writing skills.
Responsibilities
- Provides input and takes initiation of creative programs for both high and low-level functioning residents.
- Daily charting of attendance, one on one room visits, and reporting any significant changes in behavior to the Activity Director.
- Participate in contributing to the monthly Newsletter.
- Transporting residents to and from activities.
- Passing and reading mail to residents.
- Organizing and supervising group activities.
- Helping with the passing of meal trays and dining room set up.
- Assisting with out of building activities.
