Assists in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs, in accordance with the patient's assessment and care plan, and as directed by the Supervisor. This role involves conducting assessments, developing individualized recreation programs, and working cooperatively with an interdisciplinary team to implement and evaluate care plans. The position requires scheduling a variety of activities to appeal to all residents, including those confined to their rooms or with cognitive impairments, and adapting activities to ensure participation. Responsibilities also include maintaining clinical records, performing quality assurance, developing policies and procedures, and communicating with the Nursing Home Administrator regarding resident care, personnel, budget, and staffing.
