Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Energetic, dependable, and organized
- Genuine passion for helping others
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in healthcare, senior living, or activities preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, organizing, and leading recreational and social programs for residents.
- Assisting with daily resident activities and events
- Encouraging resident participation and engagement
- Leading games, crafts, music, exercise, and social activities
- Decorating for holidays, parties, and special events
- Transporting residents to and from activities as needed
- Supporting emotional and social well-being of residents
- Maintaining activity supplies and activity areas
- Documenting resident participation appropriately
- Working closely with the Activities Director and healthcare team
