About The Position

Spring Arbor of Cary is looking for an enthusiastic Lifestyle Assistant to help create engaging, meaningful experiences for our residents — supporting socialization, physical activity, and personal growth every day. This is a full-time position with a pay rate of $16.52–$18.26/hr, depending on experience, and working hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age (21 to drive the company bus)
• A valid driver's license for the state of operation
• High energy, enthusiasm, and strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• A knack for building rapport with residents and families
• Ability to pass a criminal background screening
• An acceptable DMV record (checked annually)
• Willingness to comply with our drug-free workplace policy

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year of experience in independent living, assisted living, or senior nursing
• CDL license (a perk — may be required at some locations)

Responsibilities

• Help conduct and coordinate scheduled activities seven days a week for all residents
• Assist in preparing, posting, and distributing the monthly Lifestyle calendar
• Facilitate and support monthly resident council meetings and other resident meetings
• Connect with community groups and volunteers to support Lifestyle programs
• Help schedule resident transportation and drive property vehicles as needed
• Assess residents' social and lifestyle activity preferences
