About The Position

As the Activities Assistant, you will be responsible for working side-by-side with our Activities Director to plan and execute on-going programming of Activities in our Skilled Nursing Facility. You may also conduct one-on-one activities with our residents that need more individualized attention. Documentation of activities and all participation is included in this position. This facility is currently using an electronic medical records system. Marquis operates 26 senior care facilities in Oregon, Nevada, California, and provides rehab and pharmacy services across the nation. Requirements

  • Experience working in Activities / Recreational Therapy in a healthcare setting
  • Experience working with the elderly population
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
