The Activities Assistant, Long Term Care (LTC), strives to improve the quality of life for the patients/residents by providing appropriate, meaningful activities and interventions on a one-on-one and/or group basis. This role involves administering the monthly activity calendar, eliciting patient/resident input, and organizing activities such as music, craft, and spiritual activities. The assistant will also partake in activities to support residents' optimal functioning, dignity, and identity. Additionally, the role includes assisting with simple nursing procedures, transporting patients/residents, and helping with Minimum Data Set (MDS)/EPIC documentation.
